The Pirate Bay Is Back Again, Now Accessible Via Original Domain
After seeing a downtime for several weeks, and sending all traffic to a black hole for nearly a day, The Pirate Bay has finally returned. It is accessible once again through its main ThePirateBay.org domain name.
Even though several regular visitors were aware that the site could be accessed on the Tor network via a different domain, the issues observed were unusual.
The day before yesterday, the .org domain was updated, which left several users confused. First, the Cloudflare’s nameservers were removed from whois records. Then, it was replaced by EasyDNS nameservers.

Besides this, all traffic to the domain was dumped to a local black hole, that is, 127.0.0.1. Nevertheless, the popular torrent site is back online and accessible through a new set of Cloudflare nameserver along with a few changes. There is no word yet on why these changes were made in the first place.
One noticeable update is that TPB had been using the dean.ns.cloudflare.com and sofia.ns.cloudflare.com nameservers, however, now it has been moved to deb.ns.cloudflare.com and sevki.ns.cloudflare.com.

Apart from the nameserver update, there is no change domain-wise. TorrentFreak reports that “the domain is still registered to Fredrik Neij, one of the original Pirate Bay co-founders, and EasyDNS remains the registrar.”
